Flexible Working to fix NHS Problems

The NHS has been in the news recently for spending excessive amounts on temporary staff. One solution, mentioned by the Chief Executive, SImon Stevens, is "flexible employment". As reported by the BBC, the Royal College of Nursing are calling for "more flexible working hours, pointing out that 90% of nurses are women - many of whom have childcare responsibilities and are unable to work rigid shift patterns."
